Secuenciación genómica de última generación para el estudio del cáncer y otras enfermedades de origen genético

Laryngeal squamous cell carcinomas are incurable tumors when they are diagnosed at advanced stages, given the intrinsic resistance of tumor cells to chemotherapeutic agents. Most of the molecular alterations necessary for the development and progression of these tumors (drivers) are unknown. By massively parallel DNA sequencing using second-generation technology we pretend to obtain information about the catalog of mutations present in these tumors and their involvement in the process of carcinogenesis.
