Quantification of GlcNAc in myeloid malignancies

We identified N-acetyl-D-glucosamine (GlcNAc) as a relevant metabolite associated with systemic mastocytosis (SM) severity and as an oncometabolite exacerbating neoplastic mast cell (MC) functions via chromatin remodeling. In order to test GlcNAc specificity, its predictive value of SM severity and to strengthen our data, we need to quantify GlcNAc in patients samples with various myeloid malignancies.
