Título: Bases inmunogenéticas de la enfermedad de Meniere bilateral

Resumen del proyecto: Objetives:
1. To estimate the prevalence of antinuclear antibodies (ANA and variants) and the distribution of lymphocyte populations in patients with bilateral Meniere disease (BMD).
2. To identify susceptibility alleles for class I (A, B, C) y class II (DRB1, DQB1) genes of the major histocompatibility complex in patients with BMD.
3. To define the polymorphisms of the inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in patients with BMD.
4. To assess the polymorphisms of the genes PTPN22 and CTLA-4 in individuals with BMD.
5. To analyze the polymorphism of tumor necrosis factor alpha in patients with BMD.
